(570) 674-2812 OUTSIDE CATERERS Should you choose to bring your own outside caterer, there is a $900 service fee. Caterer must be aware we have no kitchen and will work outside under a tent. (There is access to running water). Caterer must bring all of their own china, glassware, silverware, linens (if needed) etc. and everything needed to prepare the food as we have no oven, refrigeration or dishwasher available to outside caterers. If caterer is providing bartending/bar service, Friedman Farms will need current copies of their RAMP certification. While the wedding couple is our main concern, we have a standard of making sure we maintain a clean environment at the farm. For this reason, we have a short list of requirements for outside caterers: 1. The caterer must contact Shawn (our property manager) at 570-592-0068 a week prior to the wedding to go over the location of set up and any needs they may have. 2. At least one member of the catering staff must agree to stay for the full duration of the night, even if extra time is added by the Bride and Groom to ensure clean up and garbage removal to the dumpsters before they leave. 3. The caterer must also provide staff members to clean up throughout the night, which includes: cleaning off all tables and all areas of the barn from dishes, glasses, utensils, linens etc. and removing garbage throughout the night before they get too full. Clearing and cleaning is not the responsibility of Friedman Farms Day-Of Coordinator. 4. Catering area under the tent must be clean and all lights shut off at the end of the night.
