Is the barn available for rent year round?
No. Due to climate, the barn is available for rent during Mid-May through October.
Is the barn heated or air conditioned?
No. We do provide 4 large fans should you need them. We also have available for rent 3 large heaters.
How long do we get to use the barn?
The barn is rented on a weekly basis. This is due to the amount of set up/breakdown for each event. Time blocks are limited to 5 hours OF RECEPTION TIME on the day of the event for guests. This does not include your ceremony. (i.e. If your cocktail hour starts at 6PM it will end at 11PM) Included in the price is the use the barn for your rehearsal dinner and/or brunch the following day. The latest the barn will stay open is midnight. We will gladly extend the time of reception at a rate of $100 per hour.
Does the barn have a kitchen?
No, caterers must bring all of their own equipment.
Does the barn have restrooms?
Yes, men’s and women’s restrooms are available.
Is the barn handicapped accessible?
Yes.
Do I need Special Event insurance?
Yes. Please see Barn Rental Contract for details on insurance. Visit www.wedsafe.com for information on wedding insurance.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes, tables, chairs, dance floor, heaters, and outdoor sound system are available for rent. Please contact us for a copy of our rentals and pricing.
Do you decorate the barn?
The barn is equipped with plenty of lighting…chandeliers, torchiers and sconces. Willow and white lights decorate the beams. Any additional decorating is the responsibility of the renter. Florists and event planners can assist with this for an additional fee. Ladders are available for use.
Do we have to use one of your recommended caterers?
No. You may use a caterer of your choice. We highly suggest any new caterers do a site visit before your big day!
Can we provide our own food?
No. All food must be prepared by a licensed caterer.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, alcohol is permitted as long as rules and regulations listed in the contract are followed. Among these rules are all alcohol must have a Pennsylvania State Seal and be served by a Pennsylvania State Licensed bartender. Absolutely no cash bar.
Can I have candles on the tables?
No, open flames are not allowed in the barn. There are a variety of battery operated candles on the market.
